Our Goals
At CELO, we are dedicated to the design and manufacturing of high-precision fastening solutions for the fields of industrial manufacturing and construction, serving a variety of sectors, including construction, automotive and electronics. Our strong international footprint is a testament to our dedication to innovation and the use of technology, while staying true to our roots as a family business.
By continually refining our products and optimizing operations, we aim to reduce environmental impact and promote social responsibility, while delivery exceptional performance and reliability to our clients. Through our global presence, we are committed to making a positive contribution to the environment, enriching people’s lives, and benefiting society as a whole.
We acknowledge the critical role of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in addressing global challenges and advancing sustainable progress. Among these, CELO places particular emphasis on SDGs 9, 12, and 13, which we have identified as most pertinent to our business model. These goals align closely with the core areas where CELO’s operations and products have the greatest impact.
SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure
As a global manufacturer of high-performance fastening solutions, we recognize that fostering resilient infrastructure and driving innovation are essential not only for industrial progress but also for accelerating the transition toward a greener, more sustainable future.
SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
Our initiatives to recycle and reuse defective products contribute to a reduction in material consumption. The water reutilization system we have implemented has led to a decrease in water usage, particularly in regions where our factories are located, which can experience drought conditions.
SDG 13: Climate Action
We support climate action through strategies that mitigate and adapt to climate change. In 2024, we strengthened our commitment to recycled raw materials and the circular economy, while reducing virgin plastics in packaging. We also expanded solar panel installations across our factories to optimize energy use and lower our carbon footprint.
Recognition of our sustainability performance
CELO S.A. has received the Bronze Medal from EcoVadis, a testament to our dedication to responsible and sustainable business practices. This denoted a significant step in our commitment to advancing transparency and accountability in our sustainability practices, as we strive to align our operations with internationally recognized ESG standards.

Our ESG strategy is developed based on the results of our Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) is built around three interdependent pillars that reflect our corporate identity and our ambition to create a positive impact on our environment, our people, and our planet. This strategy has designed to remain true to our founding value, to adapt to global challenges, and to drive transformation across all area of activity.
