Head Style:

Variety of head styles and sizes available, including pan head, pan head flange, hexagonal flange, TORX PLUS® external, Ball head, and more. See options available

Thread Types:

Metric or licensed threads such as TAPTITE®, REMFORM®, POWERLOK®, FASTITE®, tailored to the specific materails and requirements of your assembly.

Thread Point:

Options include Dog point, MAThread®, MATpoint®, and others.

Materials and Production Process

Materials:

Low carbon steel, medium carbon steel, alloy steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and more.

Heat Treatment:

Case hardening or neutral hardening is applied in accordance with DIN ISO 898 or the technical specifications of the licensed products.

Coating:

A wide range of electrolytic and organic coatings available, with multiple color options and up to 1000 hours salt spray resistance.

Tight Tolerance:

To achieve the tight tolerances required for engineered components, the AFP manufacturing process integrates additional machining operations, including turning, grinding, drilling, and rolling.

Secondary Operations

In many applications, screws are required to do more than simply join two parts together. To meet specific functional or assembly needs, secondary operations are often necessary. These additional processes significantly enhance the versatility and performance of fasteners, enabling solutions such as double end studs, ball stud and many more.

Secondary operations may include:

  • Adding captive washers or rubber gaskets and caps
  • Creating drill holes, clearance grooves, or undercuts
  • Applying special product finishes such as sealing or adhesives

Additional Services

Inspection Levels:

Sorting options such as optical, laser, or mechanical methods are available to ensure smooth operation in fully automated assembly processes.

Cleanliness Levels:

Cleanliness standards compliant with ISO 16232 and VDA 19.1 are available at various levels. Customized solutions are also offered to meet specific requirements.

Our capability

We are equipped with advanced cold heading, thread forming, multi-stage, and CNC machines, enabling us to perform complex cold forming processes with up to five dies. Our multi-die cold heading technology allows the forming of complex shapes without generating scrap material and enables complex parts to be manufactured at high production rates. When required, we can also carry out secondary operations such as drilling holes, creating clearance grooves, undercuts, or other complex geometries to meet your specific application needs.
